Our Easter Holiday Camp is perfect for tech enthusiasts. From coding and robotics, to Roblox and Minecraft. There's something for everyone! Our camp numbers are currently reduced and our camps are Covid-safe. Monday - Micro:bit Get to grips with coding using the micro:bit - a tiny computer with big potential. Children will write programmes and code them to micro:bit to create games, flashing disco lights, and even a fruit jukebox! Tuesday - Game Design Using specialist software, children will build and programme their very own computer game they can take home to share with friends and family. From the background and scenery to health bars and points, children will have complete control over their game. Wednesday - Roblox Using specialist software children will learn how to create games with Roblox, it's great to play games but creating their own games gives children a whole new set of skills ready for the future! Thursday - Animation Children will get to grips with the basic of animation and go on to create their own stop motion animation using specialist animation software, Chroma Key technology and sophisticated digital editing techniques they will work towards a final movie that will be sent home to share with friends and family. Friday - Coding with Minecraft Minecraft Education opens up a world of learning in a way that children know, understand and love! Children will perform some of their favourite Minecraft tasks using code. All while trying to survive on our exciting challenge filled island! Our Easter half-term workshop has been designed to offer some real fun for tech-enthusiasts (and those who just want to know a little bit more) while providing a solid foundation in the understanding of creative computing, coding, robotics and game design.
